Create an Herb Garden During April 26 Nature Program
Create your own herb garden during the Forest Preserve District of Kane County’s “Garden Workshop Series.”
Join Forest Preserve District naturalists for a fun and interactive series of gardening programs. Attendees will learn about the natural and cultural impact of plants species. Following an informative discussion, participants will be provided with a pot, materials and plants to create their very own arrangement to take home.
The second workshop in this series is on Sunday, April 26 from 1-2 p.m. at Creek Bend Nature Center. At this workshop, participants will learn about and plant herb gardens. The last workshop of this series focuses on vegetable gardens on Saturday, May 9.
Registration is $10 per person, per garden, and includes the materials. Call 630-444-3190 or email programs@kaneforest.com to register. Advance registration is required.
Creek Bend Nature Center is located within LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve at 37W700 Dean St., St Charles.
