Kane County Child Advocacy Center’s “Balloon Launch for Hope” at noon Tuesday, April 7, at the Kane County Child Advocacy Center, 427 Campbell St., Geneva.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and there’s no better advocate for abuse prevention than the Kane County Child Advocacy Center. CAC was established to ensure the coordination and cooperation in the investigation of cases of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse of children in Kane County.

Speakers include Kane County State’s Attorney Joseph McMahon, CAC Executive Director ASA Debra Bree, Friends of the CAC President Jo-Ann O’Neil and J.M., a special guest speaker and survivor.

“Come help the Kane County CAC bring awareness to the horrific crimes being committed against our children,” CAC said in a flyer promoting the event.
