Aurora Police Seek Community’s Help in Thursday Shooting Death of 24-Year-Old

Much has been discussed in recent weeks about the importance of police and community members working together. The Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office led a summit in late April to address critical issues, to strengthen the relationships between community members and police and to find best practices for justice.

Now, the Aurora Police Department is putting that sentiment into practice, seeking the community’s help in the investigation of the Thursday shooting death of 24-year-old Davarius Reese.
