The St. Charles Park District brings the summer Concerts in the Park series to St. Charles’ historic downtown for families and friends to enjoy the great outdoors and some fabulous music. The first concert performance of the season will be Red Woody at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at the Lincoln Park Gazebo, located along Main Street between 4th and 5th streets.

This Fox Valley favorite rock ‘n’ roll band plays a wide variety of music – classic rock ‘n’ roll, contemporary favorites and great alternative hits, with songs from Elvis, Lynryd Skynyrd, Beatles, Goo Goo Dolls, Aerosmith and many more.

The concert is free, thanks to generous support of numerous local businesses including Costco, WBK Associates, Ltd.; Bickford Assisted Living and Memory Care; Nationwide — Julien Insurance Agency, Inc.; Culver’s St. Charles, Marshall Architects; Banner Up Signs of Sycamore; Blooming Color; Onesti Entertainment; and the Kane County Chronicle.

Upcoming concerts include Brass from the Past on June 18; The Right Now on June 25; Mason Rivers on July 9; Mr. Myers on July 16; Libido Funk Circus on July 23; Serendipity and 7th Heaven on July 30; Howard and the White Boys on Aug. 6; and Final Say on Aug. 13.

In the event of rain, the concert will be moved to the Arcada Theatre at 105 E. Main St. Musicians are subject to change without notice.
