Register Now for Forest Preserve’s Pollinators Week Program
Help celebrate National Pollinator Week by joining the Forest Preserve District on Father’s Day, June 21, at the Dick Young Forest Preserve.
The celebration will take place from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 21. All are welcome. Come out to the prairie to find native pollinators and learn about the foods they prefer. Butterflies, bees and beetles are just a few of the kinds of pollinators we’re sure to find. You’ll use sweep nets and bug boxes to get up close and personal with these important creatures.
Advanced registration is required. The registration fee is $2 per person. Call 630-444-3190 or email programs@kaneforest.com to register.
Dick Young Forest Preserve is located at 39W115 Main St., Batavia. Please use the Main Street entrance.
