Cosmopolitan Marketplace Official Grand Opening July 10
As a quick update to a previous article on Kane County Connects, the Cosmopolitan Marketplace official grand opening is Friday, July 10, 2015.
The marketplace is billed as a store “like nothing else you’ve experienced.” It’s given a nice boost to economic development in Aurora, and from what we’ve heard, it is different enough to spark interest.
According to the Cosmopolitan Marketplace website and Facebook Page the store at at 2372 W. Indian Trail Road is holding the ribbon cutting is at 10 a.m. Friday. There also will be live demos, a live band (7th Heaven) from noon to 3 p.m., samples from the delicatessen, a wine tasting and other demonstrations.
Back in June, the city of Aurora has announced via Facebook that the long-awaited Cosmopolitan Market is “open and ready to serve.” The Friday event is the official opening.
“With everything from a 30,000-square-foot bakery, a 60,000-square-foot meat processing center, restaurant, coffee and espresso bar, grocery store complete with deli, dairy, and produce, electronics, housewares , and major appliances, Cosmopolitan Marketplace is open and ready to serve — complete with dazzling chandeliers,” the city of Aurora said.
