How Kane County Manufacturers Can Get Incentives to Go Green
Kane County manufacturing companies have a rare opportunity to learn best practices from the area’s top electricity-delivery companies, gain rebates and discover cost-effective energy efficiency at a free program July 30 in Chicago.
The Chicago Metro Metal Consortium, the Alliance for Illinois Manufacturing and S&C Electric will host the Energy Incentives for Manufacturers program from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. July 30 at S&C Electric, 6601 N. Ridge Boulevard, Chicago.
The program will feature an overview of S&C Electric’s energy conservation and efficiency efforts and a presentation by Hill Mechanical, a contractor that performs the construction work for these initiatives, on solutions — and cost offsets — for building systems retrofits. Representatives from ComEd and People’s / North Shore Gas will provide information on current utility rebates and other incentives to help you save energy.
The event will conclude with a tour and demonstration of S&C’s smart grid and an opportunity for networking with energy and innovation experts. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served.
S&C Electric is addressing challenges facing the world’s power grids and is shaping the future of reliable electricity delivery. S&C’s Chicago headquarters is a provider of switching, protection, and control solutions for electric power systems.
