Tutors know how rewarding it is to be a literacy volunteer. Can you help us attract more volunteers by forwarding this article to friends and family?
This year, Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley wants to train 90 new volunteer tutors. LVFV will provide training and support if you can provide one hour of your time per week. As a result, you will change someone’s life.
Please attend one of the two tutor training workshops that will be held this summer:
Mondays and Wednesdays
July 13, 15, 20, and 22
from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
at the St. Charles Public Library
or
Tuesdays and Thursdays,
Aug. 11, 13, 18, and 20
from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
at the St. Charles Public Library
You don’t have to have a background in education or a second language … just a desire to help.
