Multi-Tasking Required: Batavia Women in Business Progressive Luncheon Aug. 11

During business luncheons, multi-tasking is required. During a progressive business lunch, multi-tasking takes on a new level – and the results can be outstanding.
Batavia Women in Business invite area business professionals to join them on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Orchard Valley Country Club, 2411 West Illinois Ave., Aurora for a multi-chamber progressive luncheon.
Beginning at 11:30 a.m., the luncheon costs $25 per person and registration is due by Thursday, Aug. 6. Attendees can register online atwww.bataviachamber.org  (preferred method) or by calling 630-879-7134. Because of the format, the group cannot accept late registrations or walk-ins.
“We reached out to numerous area Chambers of Commerce to join us for our annual progressive lunch,” says Kim Wirtz of Sharratt Chiropractic, co-chair of Batavia Women in Business. “Chambers from Aurora, Geneva, Oswego, St. Charles and Western DuPage have been invited, so we are hoping for a good sized crowd.”
At normal BWIB luncheons, attendees have the opportunity to make six to eight contacts over lunch. At the upcoming progressive lunch, guests will meet three groups during the event.

“Many of us have attended other progressive luncheons and found them invaluable for networking,” Batavia Women in Business’ other co-chair Karen Pedersen, Pedersen Design, explained. “Because our members continually request more opportunities for networking, we are excited to host our fifth annual event.”

As a reminder, businesses may share their marketing information and promotional items on a designated marketing table.

Triple your lunchtime networking opportunities at Batavia Women in Business’ August Progressive Lunch; however, don’t be late in registering. Sign up no later than Thursday, Aug. 6 by registering online at www.bataviachamber.org or by calling the Batavia Chamber of Commerce at 630-879-7134. By the way, men are welcome, too!
