The 8th Annual Chris Walk Night Out Against Substance Abuse is being held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Gunnar Anderson Forest Preserve, Route 31 at Batavia Avenue, Geneva. The event includes a 5K run/ walk, DJ, vendor fair, resources for help, speakers, food, raffles, silent auction, professional face painter, giant bubble blower and more.

Chris Walk is a 501c3 nonprofit agency whose goal is to educate on alcohol, illicit drugs, synthetic and prescription drugs — identifying the signs and symptoms and providing information about where to get help.
