Chicago Premium Outlets will be debuting more than 30 new and expanded stores — including anchor store Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th — during a four-day grand opening celebration that starts Thursday.

Brand new center amenities include 2,200 additional parking places, a feature pond, fireplaces, a new Guest Services Center and more, all of which are part of Chicago Premium Outlets multi-million dollar expansion. The centerwide savings and promotions run from Thursday, Aug. 27, through Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015.

The grand opening is part of a proposed 50-store expansion.

Perhaps the most ballyhooed of Thursday’s openings is the Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH. The new 21,524-square-foot store features a selection of more than 800 sought-after brands and designer finds for both men and women, all at up to 70 percent off.

“We are thrilled to open our doors and welcome shoppers to our brand new store in Aurora,” said Jonathan Greller, president of outlets, Hudson’s Bay Company. “As the fifth Saks OFF 5TH store in the state, we continue to see Illinois as a key market to support our expansion plans and to bring our in-store experience to more customers.”

To celebrate the grand opening, shoppers will have a chance to win a $100 Gift Card from Sax’s fashion vault along with other fabulous prizes. The new Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH will reside in the Chicago Premium Outlets at 1650 Premium Outlets Boulevard. Doors open at 10 a.m. on Thursday and regular store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Chicago Premium Outlets broke ground on the proposed 50-store expansion in July. The multi-million dollar project will expand one of the country’s most successful outlet centers by almost two-thirds, for a future total of more than 170 stores.

In addition to OFF 5th, new stores include Clarins luxury skin care, Robert Graham clothing, Abercrombie & Fitch Outlet, The Limited Outlet, Old Navy Outlet, Tommy Hilfiger Kids, Vince apparel and UGG Australia. Stores gaining larger spaces include Michael Kors, Nike Factory Store, Vera Bradley and Under Armour.
