53-Year-Old Reported Missing in Aurora Is Found in Bolingbrook, Safe and Sound

Dimitri Staley, the subject of Aurora’s missing person news release on Nov. 18, was located in Bolingbrook, safe and sound, the Aurora Police Department reports.

Aurora Police are asking for assistance in locating a 53-year-old man who went missing from a West Side rehabilitation Center last week.

Aurora Police Department LogoDimitri Staley, whose last known address was a homeless shelter in Wheaton, climbed out of a window at the rehabilitation center in the 1000 block of West Galena Boulevard, Aurora, at about 5:45 p.m., Nov. 12, and has not been seen since. He was undergoing treatment for a head injury at the time he went missing. Authorities believe he may be in the Joliet or Wheaton areas or in the city of Chicago.

Staley is a male black, 53 years old, 6’1”, 180 lbs. with a shaved head and brown eyes. He is generally calm, but may display a temper if he feels cornered or threatened.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call Aurora Police Investigations at 630-256-5500 or their local law enforcement agency by dialing 911.
