Quick ‘FESS’ Up: Kautz Road Will Close Nov. 4-5
Hey, did you know that Kautz Road in Geneva will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday this week?
Me neither. Not until I read about it Monday in Fermilab Today.
As part of a utilities upgrade project, a section of Kautz Road near Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory’s west Booster Tower, as well as a part of the nearby parking lot, will be closed from Wednesday, Nov. 4, through Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015.
Detour signs and flagmen will be posted to facilitate traffic flow.
Fermilab is asking drivers to please follow the signs, drive safely and refer to the above map for more information.
Further construction projects will take place throughout November. FESS will announce them as the construction dates approach.
We’re hoping that FESS stands for Facilities and Equipment Support Services, as opposed to some of the other common FESS acronyms, which include Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Fire and Explosion Suppression System.
