6 Kane County High Schools Rank Among Top 100 in Illinois
Six Kane County high schools rank among the top 100 in the state of Illinois, according to a newly released report by Niche, one of the largest website-content startups in the country.
Niche bases its analysis of the best public high schools in the nation on “statistics, student and parent reviews and expert insights.” Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, student and parent reviews.
St. Charles East topped the list of Kane County high schools with a ranking of 45th statewide. Its overall Niche grade was “A.” It was followed closely by Geneva High School at No. 46. St. Charles North was 70th, Batavia 85th, Huntley 91st and Hampshire 100th.
