Holiday in the Grove is a festive community event that includes Breakfast with Santa and many other holiday activities throughout the day in Sugar Grove, IL.

The event was established to continue to run the Sugar Grove Community Christmas festival, and is held on the first Saturday of December each year.

Why should you go? Well, here are seven good reasons!

(1) CEREMONIAL TREE LIGHTING

  • Time: 7:45 a.m.
  • Where: Community House
  • Note: Santa Will Be Arriving Early

(2) BREAKFAST WITH SANTA

  • Seating Times: 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m.
  • Where: Community House
  • Sign Up: Register Online

(3) PICTURES WITH SANTA

  • Visiting Times: 8 a.m. to noon
  • Where: Community House
  • Photos: Will Be Made Available Complimentary Securely Online

(4) MRS. SANTA’S SWEET SHOPPE

  • Time: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Where: Sugar Grove United Methodist Church
  • Activities: Pick up a variety of cookies, candy and fudge

(5) CRAFTERS & VENDORS

  • Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: John Shields Elementary School
  • Note: Crafters and vendors for your holiday shopping needs

(6) COOKIES WITH MRS. CLAUS & CHILDREN’S CRAFTS

  • Time: Crafts 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Mrs. Claus 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
