Cougars Become 1st Class A Franchise to Hit 11 Million Fans

The Kane County Cougars were recognized this week at the Baseball Winter Meetings in Nashville, TN, as the Cougars organization became the first Class-A franchise in Minor League Baseball history to reach 11 million fans in club history.

The Cougars welcomed more than 400,000 fans to Fifth Third Bank Ballpark in the organization’s 25th silver anniversary season in 2015, eclipsing the 400,000 fan mark for the 21st time in 25 seasons. This season’s attendance total heavily contributed to a Midwest League record-setting attendance figure of more than 4.2 million fans at games leaguewide in 2015.

Cougars_logo SMALLJust last month, the Cougars announced a re-branded team and organizational identity with a new primary logo and team colors.
