East Dundee Carriage Rides Saturdays Through Dec. 26

Horse-drawn carriage rides will be offered from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 19 and 26 at East Dundee’s Depot, 319 North River Street.

“We’re offering folks a chance to step back and slow down as they enjoy our downtown business area at a slower pace,” said Village President Lael Miller. ”They can grab a bite to eat at any of our area restaurants or pubs and then take a leisurely ride around the neighborhood. We think they’ll be impressed by the many changes that have been made to the area during this past year.”

The carriage accommodates four to six passengers for a 10- to 15-minute ride. Tickets are $5 for adults 13 years and up; free for youth 12 years and under. There is a limit of four children per one adult. Rides are offered on a first-come, first- served basis.
