Ta Da! 2015’s Spectacular Student Photos on Exhibition Tuesday, Dec. 8

You’ve seen the Regional Office of Education’s photos for the past nine weeks on Kane County Connects. Now you can see those photos and meet the photographers at an open house Tuesday in Batavia.

The ROE will host a photo exhibition, open to the public, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Water Street Studios to honor the photography students and teachers. There will be trophies created by Image Awards, holiday music provided by the Batavia High School string trio, delicious appetizers from Enticing Cuisine and lovely matted photography from our students.

The top featured photos will not only be honored with trophies from Regional Superintendent Patricia Dal Santo, but Executive Director Danielle Hollis of Water Street Studios announced last week that students would receive an additional award.

“To recognize the students’ achievements, we will award all nine students with individual one-year memberships,” Hollis said. “They will receive invitations to gallery openings, exclusive members-only events, and discounts to all our amazing classes.”
