Where, When to See ‘Star Wars’ in Kane County, IL

A long long time ago, in a galaxy centered right about here, we created Kane County Connects as a service to residents of Kane County. Fueled in part by a grant from the Grand Victoria Casino Elgin Fund, part of its outreach mission is to support the three E’s: education, environment and the economic growth.

It might be a stretch to say that “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is going to have a huge impact on the local economy, but there’s little doubt that it helps. When people go to the movies, they spend money — buy some popcorn at the theater, do a little holiday shopping at the mall, go out to dinner with friends or family.

So, here’s a little support for Kane County businesses and a service to you: a list of where and when you can see “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at a theater in the friendly confines of this fine county in Illinois. As always, let us know if we missed any, and may the Force be with you.
