New-Look Ozzie T. Cougar — ‘Coolest Cougar’ in Kane County?
The new Ozzie T. Cougar might be “the coolest cougar in Chicagoland,” but he also looks like someone you wouldn’t want to mess with. The bushy, focused eyebrows, the gleaming green eyes, the mouth that even shows a couple teeth — this new mascot makeover is a cougar in every sense.
The Cougars on Thursday unveiled the “new look” Ozzie T. Cougar to go along with the new logo, new uniforms and new branding for one of the most-popular Class A baseball franchises in America. The new look for Ozzie T. Cougar is reflecting the Cougars’ new visual identity that was unveiled in November.
Of course, Ozzie is the Cougars mascot, and you can see him at every home game at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark, but what a lot of people might not know is how often Ozzie is out in the community and working for good causes. He’s available for parades, fun fairs, school assemblies and other events during the calendar year, and you can click HERE to learn more about having Ozzie at your next event.
Ozzie T. Cougar starts his 26th season with the Cougars in 2016. He is extremely proud of his own reading club, which included more than 400 Chicago area schools in 2015. Children improve their reading skills through their participation and receive complimentary tickets to attend a pre-game parade and Cougars game.
