Adorable, Adoptable Pets: Meet Billy, the Miniature Pinscher Mix

  • KCAC’s Adorable, Adoptable Pet of the Week is written by Tecla Metzel of Kane County Animal Control.

Meet Billy, a 2-year old miniature pinscher mix, who’s quite the little man! He came to Kane County Animal Control as a stray from the St. Charles area. As you can tell by his expression, he wants to get to know you, but he might act a little timid and shy at first.

Billy1Despite his bashfulness, Billy will become your new best friend after proper introductions are made. He can, however, feel a little overwhelmed in loud and chaotic environments, so his ideal home would be one that is calm and quiet.

He doesn’t mind other dogs, as long as they mind their manners and don’t try to scare him. He would do well in a home where he’s the only dog or where he can co-habitate with another quiet well-mannered canine.

Billy would love to take walks and live in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can run off some of his friendly energy. Once he gets to know you, he will show you his freestyle dance moves as he twirls around you in circles and then gives you kisses!

Billy is waiting to introduce himself to his new, forever family!
