Beginning today (Monday, March 14, 2016) , daytime traffic along the southbound stretch of Farnsworth Avenue from Indian Trail to Sheffer Road will be reduced to one lane as crews conduct a water main replacement project.

The project requires the lane reduction until approximately 3 p.m. each day through June.  During that time, a significant portion of work will be completed at night to minimize traffic congestion.

Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes when possible.

Farnswood Storm Sewer Extension

This project provides for a new storm sewer at the intersection of McClure Road and Reckinger Road. Construction is expected to begin in Summer 2016 and will be completed by October 2016. Minor delays associated with lane closures are to be expected.
