Kane County Farm Bureau’s 32nd Annual Ag Days March 15-16
While a lot of folks are voting on Tuesday, March 15, hundreds of Kane County youth will be learning about agriculture at Mooseheart, thanks to the Kane County Farm Bureau.
The Farm Bureau’s 32nd Annual Ag Days takes place over two days, with farmers and presenters onsite by 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, and Wednesday, March 16.
For three decades, the Kane County Farm Bureau has provided a way for Kane County students to see all sorts of agricultural activities all in one place. Students will hear and take part in short presentations on agricultural topics, livestock and farm machinery led by farmers and presenters from many facets of the agriculture industry. They will rotate through a series of more than 20 stations to learn about Kane County commodities like soybeans, corn, pork, beef, dairy, poultry and vegetables.

WHAT: Ag Days at Mooseheart
WHEN: Tuesday, March 15, and Wednesday, March 16.
- Farmers and presenters will be onsite by 8:45 a.m.
- Students arrive between 9-9:30 a.m.
- Presentations: 9:30 a.m. – Noon
WHO: The Kane County Farm Bureau Ag Literacy Program and the KCFB Women’s Committee fourth grade students and their teachers from Kane County elementary schools. More than 20 area commodity groups, agricultural businesses and organizations and local farmers will be on hand.
