St. Charles Residents: Apply for a Position on the Regional Board of School Trustees
The Kane County Regional Office of Education is now accepting applications for a vacant St. Charles seat on the Regional Board of School Trustees.
This is a volunteer board that is only responsible for the annexation and detachment of land parcels and does not monitor the Kane County schools. The Regional Board of School Trustees is looking to appoint a trustee to fill the vacant St. Charles seat until the regular election in 2017.
Applicants must be a registered voter in Kane County, cannot be a member of a school board, and cannot hold a county office. Candidates can only be from the St. Charles Township.
