Aurora police are hoping the public can provide information on a man wanted on a 2014 warrant who they need to also talk with in reference to a May 3, 2016, shooting.

Aaron Tolomac, 21, who lists Aurora addresses both in the 2000 block of West Illinois Avenue and the 500 block of Spruce Street is wanted for questioning in a shooting that occurred inside of a friend’s apartment, also located in the 2000 block of West Illinois. No one was hurt in the shooting that occurred around 10:40 p.m. May 3 when a single gunshot was fired through a ceiling in the residence.

The 2014 incident for which Tolomac is wanted occurred around 5:30 p.m. July 28. Tolomac was charged with misdemeanor battery stemming from a fight in which he was engaged with a 25 year old man. The fight ended when Tolomac allegedly hit the other man in the head with a skateboard. The victim was treated for a non-life threatening injury at an Aurora hospital.

Tolomac is also wanted on a burglary warrant out of the Kane County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say Tolomac is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached if spotted. He is a Hispanic male, 5 feet 3 inches, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He sometimes spells his last name as Tolamac.
