From ‘Citradelic IPA’ to ‘Romantic Chemistry’ — Thirsty Thursdays Returns June 30 to East Dundee
Beer will be flowing during the first of three Thirsty Thursdays slated for 6 .m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at The Depot, 319 N. River St. in East Dundee.
Diamond Jim’s Gas Grill will be providing craft beers from Illinois, Wisconsin, Delaware and Colorado breweries. Beers will be featured for visitors to sample and learn about the different varieties during the event. Breweries include Revolution, with its offerings of “A Little Crazy”, a Belgium Pale Ale and “Pils” a Craft Pilsner; Lakefront Brewing Company with its “Hop Jockey IPA a Hoppy IPA and “My Turn-Evan” a Mexican Style Lager; New Belgium Brewing Co. with its “Citradelic IPA” a Tangerine IPA and “Heavy Melon, a Watermelon Lime Ale, and Dogfish Head Brewing Company with its “Festiva Peche” a Peach Brew and “Romantic Chemistry,” an Apricot Mango, IPA. There will be eight different types of beer styles represented.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by The Sting Rays and free adult yard games including badminton; croquet; corn hole; lawn twister and “Yardzee.” Food will be available for purchase from Aliano’s Ristorante; Dundee Depot Dogs and Rosie O’Hare’s Public House.
All are welcome as no admission is required. Those choosing to drink must be 21 yrs. old and purchase a wristband from the Dundee Foundation for $1. Beers are priced at $5 per 10-ounce glass.
