June 8 Fox Valley Sustainability Network Forum Focuses on Solar Power
After a successful launch event earlier this year, the Fox Valley Sustainability Network is back for its next educational forum this Wednesday afternoon — and this time the group is bringing focus to the bright potential for solar power and Deep Cycle Solar Batteries throughout the Fox Valley.
Whether you’re in the public sector or private sector, join the network for a lively two-hour forum designed to stimulate thinking and conversation around how to integrate solar throughout our community, leading to a more sustainable Fox Valley.
The forum will kickoff with introductions from the City of Aurora and Seven Generations Ahead, along with an overview from Jim Ebel, founder of Two Brothers Brewing Company, discussing what the business is doing to become more sustainable.
Solar case studies will be shared by Convergence Energy, WCP Solar, and Elevate Energy, to showcase local solar projects and educate attendees on the financing opportunities available in the region. The feature presentation on the Illinois Clean Jobs Bill will be delivered by Jennifer Walling, Executive Director of the Illinois Environmental Council.
Space is still available. If you would like to attend the forum, please RSVP by emailing Taylee Pardi at tpardi@a5inc.com.
