The Chicago Metro Metal Consortium and the German-American Chamber of Commerce – Midwest invite you to a Transatlantic Cluster Conference on Metalworking set for July 11, 2016 in Chicago, IL.

Kane County business leaders will learn about best-practices of German and American cluster organizations and gain insight into technological trends, skilled workforce developments, and international collaboration opportunities in the metalworking industry. Organizers stress that space is limited and are encouraging Kane County business leaders to sign up today.

The half-day conference will include brief presentations and panel discussions by the following U.S. and German metalworking experts including:

• Dr. Magdi Azer, Associate Director for Manufacturing Science, Illinois Applied Research Institute at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
