Daredevil Motorcycle Jump, 3-Day Illinois HOG Rally Coming to St. Charles

The 27th Annual Illinois State H.O.G. Rally will meet in St. Charles this year from Aug. 18 to Aug. 20 at Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 E. Main Street, St. Charles. More than 625 Harley Owners from 11 states and Australia will attend the annual rally that is said to “capture the native spirit of exploration and excitement on local RIDES, RIDES and MORE RIDES!”

Several signature events will take place during this year’s rally, including:

  • Self-guided, Observation, Premier and Mystery Guided Rides
  • Bike Washes
  • Chapter Challenge
  • Charles Merchant Walk
  • “A League of Our Own” LOH Ride
  • Biker Bingo

The rally includes nightly gatherings like HOGS by the Firepit and HOG Band Stand, featuring Joe Fascetta and Déjà vu as live entertainment. Sponsor Fox River Harley Davidson will have an Open House – Dealer Event on Saturday, featuring the Medinah Motor Corps and its Competition Drill.

St. Charles visitors bureau logoH.O.G. favorite Bubba Blackwell will present his “The American Daredevil” Stunt Show during this year’s rally. Blackwell is best known for breaking Evel Knievel’s jump record for both cars and buses using a Harley-Davidson XR-750 flat-track racing motorcycle. Opportunities to meet Blackwell are available Friday and Saturday at select times.

The climax of the rally will be Blackwell’s Harley Davidson XR750 Performance Motorcycle Jump Saturday evening from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Rally attendees will have preferred seating for this open to the public event.

Though pre-registration is closed, registration for the Illinois State H.O.G. Rally is still available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 18 and Aug. 19 and from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 20 at Pheasant Run Resort. For more information and details, call 630-772-2820.
