About Geneva Community Chest
Geneva Community Chest is a local not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization benefiting Geneva and other Fox Valley residents.
The GCC is managed locally by volun-teers who provide time and expertise to raise funds for various social service agencies in our community. Each year the Community Chest Board carefully screens and evaluates the charitable agencies that receive its funds and then raises tens of thousands of dollars to help those agencies fulfill their missions.
Your donation will be carefully considered and distributed to the numerous organizations that support the needs of your fellow Genevans!
Why donate to the Geneva Community Chest?
This is your opportunity to give something back to the community. Because the GCC is not affiliated with any national fund-raising organi-zation, approximately 90% of the funds collected by the GCC go to the agencies listed in this brochure.
Review all of the agencies and you will find that you know, or have heard of, someone who has been a recipient of its services.
“Our goal is to provide funding for a specific project or program for each organization. Our hope is that this will help to ensure efficient use of the funds we provide and give you, our donors, a better idea of who your donation is helping and how it is helping them,” the GCC says in its brochure.
