How To Keep Your Employees Healthy — Sign Up Now for Sept. 16 Worksite Wellness Conference
Insights on a variety of worksite wellness issues — workplace health solutions, wellness initiatives, emotional health, and even employee financial health — will be offered at Wellness Works 2016, a workshop serving large and small employers throughout the Aurora region and Fox Valley.
Sponsored by the Healthy Living Council of Greater Aurora, the Wellness Works 2016 program is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Prisco Community Center in Aurora. The conference will inform employers about the importance of promoting and sustaining healthy living in the workplace, provide time for networking on ideas and practices related to workplace health, and showcase products and services to help employers improve worksite wellness.
A panel discussion will address: worksite wellness from the perspectives of both large and small employers; employee assistance programs; wellness initiatives; and financial stability issues, such as helping employees prepare for retirement. The panelists are from such companies as Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Rush-Copley Medical Center, Buchar Family Chiropractic, ComPsych and Mesirow Financial.
Keynote speakers will address “Workplace Health Solutions”, from the director of Community Health for the American Heart Association, and “The Role of Emotional Health in Workplace Wellness”, from the director of Behavioral Health at Interactive Health.
Among the more than a dozen exhibitors providing information on employee health issues will be the Illinois Public Health Institute, Fox Valley Park District, Kane County Health Department, Rush-Copley Healthplex, and the city of Aurora.
The registration fee for Wellness Works 2016 is $25 — and includes a tasty, healthy lunch. Employers may register at http://tinyurl.com/WellnessWorks2016.
