Elburn Chamber of Commerce to Hold Its First-Ever Business Expo Oct. 10
The Elburn Chamber of Commerce will host its first-ever Business Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, at John Stewart Elementary School, 817 Prairie Valley St.
Elburn Chamber of Commerce Administrator Tracy Leach said the village of Elburn has been working to get the word out about the community’s growing number of local businesses, through its Shop Local campaign and the recently formed Economic Development Commission, and the expo will be a great showcase.
“We have a wide variety of businesses signed up, including construction, financial services, restaurants and more,” she said. “There is no doubt that you’ll see familiar faces at the booths, and we believe that will be a big draw. From the perspective of a business owner or a consumer, it always feels good to support your neighbors.”
The event is free to the public, and the chamber is inviting people from throughout the area.
“Although Elburn is a small town, there are a lot of great businesses here,” Leach said.
A registration form and more info is posted on the Elburn Chamber’s Facebook Page.
