On Thursday, Sept. 15, you can taste and explore what the Fox Valley area has to offer for your next event or holiday party.

The inaugural Fox Valley Hospitality Expo will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Riverside Banquets and Conference Center, 35 North River Lane, Geneva.

For some, it’s a difficult task — not to mention time consuming — to find everything you need for your next event all in one place. This event is designed to bring together the very best local businesses, restaurants and caterers. Guests will enjoy sampling signature dishes from local restaurants, and there will be beer, wine and whiskey tastings.

Other suppliers, such as transportation, florists, venues, entertainment, awards, travel and more will be on hand to meet your party-planning needs.

A portion of the event proceeds will benefit CASA Kane County, a nonprofit, volunteer organization that advocates for abused and neglected children within the juvenile court system. The expo is free to attend for all meeting and event planners. Registration is required. Tickets go on sale March 28.

An exhibitor ticket purchase will include a six-foot table, tablecloth and chair. A second ticket can be purchased if more space is required. Set up will begin at noon. Exhibitor questions should be directed to Fox Valley Hospitality Expo director Naomi Rolfe at 630-212-6159.
