News of this very cool video arrived in the inbox last week from Rich Harvest Farms Communications guru Whitney Goodbred. It should be mentioned that Rich Harvest Farms, located Sugar Grove, is the home venue for the NIU golf team and will host the 2017 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships.

Apparently, Northern Illinois University produced the video, which was shot both at Huskie Stadium and at RHF, as part of the Morning Drive’s #MDTrickshots segment. The popular golf-team feature aligns with a football match-up each week, and the Huskies were taking on San Diego State last week in their home opener.

This year marks the first time NIU will host a NCAA Championship in any sport since becoming a major college program in 1969. The women’s championship will be held May 18-24, 2017, followed by the men’s finals May 25-31.

Rich Harvest Farms is one of Kane County’s many claims to fame, consistently rated one of Golf Digest Magazine’s America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses, and host of the the 2015 Palmer Cup, the 2015 Western Amateur and the LPGA’s Solmeim Cup in 2009.
