North Auroran Is First-Ever Judson Woman to Compete in NCAA Golf Championship
Mabrianne Pryer of North Aurora is the first athlete to represent Judson University as an individual golfer for the National Christian College Athletic Association Women’s Golf Championship.
Pryer is playing as this is written, at the Hombre Golf Club in Panama City Beach, FL. The championship features a 54-hole stroke play event with the top 10 golfers on the women’s side designated as NCCAA All-Americans. First round started Monday, Oct. 24, and will conclude with a possible third round today (Wednesday, Oct. 26) for the golfers who advance.
Pryer led the Eagles during the fall season as the top finisher for the team in all four events. Her best finish came during the NCCAA Regional Championship as she was sixth overall, and her best round score came during the same tournament as she shot a round one score of 87.
