ROE Photo Contest Week 1 Belongs to Dundee-Crown High School’s Spittin’ Image
To highlight the arts in Kane County, the Regional Office of Education is proud to present the third annual Student Photography Contest. As in previous years, for nine weeks, Kane County high schools will have their photos featured in a top 10 countdown.
“This is one of our favorite projects,” said Regional Superintendent Patricia Dal Santo. “For the past two years, we’ve heard from teachers that students put more effort into their artwork because of this contest.”
Public and private high school teachers are encouraged to submit students’ work to Ellen Kamps at the Regional Office of Education.
Featured this week are photos from Aurora Central Catholic High School, Batavia High School, Dundee-Crown High School, Geneva Community High School, Kaneland High School and West Aurora High School. For the first week of the contest, a total of 57 photos were submitted for consideration. The ROE sends a big note of thanks to all the photography teachers for coordinating this effort.
Exciting announcements regarding the year-end artist reception will be made public via Kane County Connects in the following weeks. Stay tuned!
