POW! This Playful Cinder-ella Kitten Is a True Masterpiece
“The smallest feline is a masterpiece”
– Leonardo da Vinci
- KCAC’s Adorable, Adoptable Pet of the Week is written by Tecla Metzel of Kane County Animal Control.
She looks like she’s been playing in a dusty coal bin, but this little gray tabby domestic short hair is definitely a masterpiece waiting for the right home. With almost a full white chest and a few broad strokes of white blending into the gray, she would make a great subject for any artist.
Her name is Cinder and she came to Kane County Animal Control as a 12-week-old stray kitten that was found with five other feline buddies. It’s hard to say if all of them were part of the same litter since each one wears different markings, but that’s what makes Cinder so special.
Cinder’s tiny size belies her huge personality. She is a sweet, playful little girl who is ready, willing and able to chase any toy you might choose to throw for her as many times as you may want to throw it.
She also is content to merely rest in your lap or spend the night curled around your head in typical cat fashion. She also loves to climb things, even if it’s onto your shoulder! As she nudges and rubs against your face, you might be surprised at some of the amazing things she will whisper in your ear.
Or maybe she will just give you the tiny purr of a small kitten thanking you for giving her the loving home she always wanted.
