The Carpentersville Police Department is seeking the public’s help in the investigation of a Thanksgiving-weekend shooting that left one person in critical condition.

According to a Carpentersville Police Department news release, the shooting took place at around 8:10 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 26, 2016) at the Fox View Apartment Complex between 11 Oxford Road and 13 Oxford Road.

One person was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition, police said.

The Carpentersville Police Department continues to investigate the incident. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Detective Acevedo at 847-551-3481, Ext. 1716.

Police said additional information will be released as it becomes available and can be released to the public.
