Two of Kane County’s most-famous residents will serve as the grand marshals of the St. Charles’ Electric Christmas Parade, set for Nov. 26.

The Downtown St. Charles Partnership officially made the announcement its Facebook page that Wahlberg and McCarthy would lead the popular holiday event.

McCarthy and Wahlberg just “heated up the red carpet at the 2016 American Music Awards” held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (Nov. 20, 2016) in Los Angeles. They’ll go from L.A. last weekend to St. Charles this weekend.

The week before that, Donnie Wahlberg was on LIVE with Kelly, according to the Downtown St. Charles Partnership Facebook page.

“The Blue Bloods star had so many good things to say about living in St. Charles and how it’s a great place to raise his family,” the Downtown Partnership post said.
