ROE's 'WOW' Student Photo Contest Week 6: West Aurora Climbs 'Spiral Stairs' to the Top

ROE’s ‘WOW’ Student Photo Contest Week 6: West Aurora Climbs ‘Spiral Stairs’ to the Top

Thank you to the Kane County students and teachers who submitted 50 photos for week six of the ROE’s “WOW” Student Photography Contest!

While the weather is cooling down, the Photo Contest is heating up with a great range of diversity this week from the fantastic student submissions! We saw submissions from West Aurora High School, Aurora Central Catholic High School, Batavia High School, Kaneland High School, Dundee-Crown High School, and St. Charles North High School.

The Regional Office of Education is working hard to finalize the plans for the 3rd Annual Student Photo Reception that is under a month away. On Dec. 15th, join us at Water Street Studios in Batavia from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. for an evening of celebrating the amazing works of art that Kane County students have created. Keep an eye out next week for more information on the reception.

Public and Private High Schools are encouraged to submit their students’ work to Mike Ademe at the Kane County Regional Office of Education. New participants are welcome to join the contest anytime. Without further ado, here are the top 10 photos for week six!
