ROE’s ‘WOW’ Student Photo Contest Week 7: St. Edward Captures Image of True Loyalty
Happy early Thanksgiving to our Kane County community members! The ROE is grateful to all of the teachers and students that are participating in the ROE’s Third Annual Photo Contest and making it better than ever. In seven weeks, we have received nearly 400 photos from nine area high schools! This effort to highlight the arts is possible thanks to the time and skills of our talented teachers and the students taking these amazing photos.
The ROE is excited to unveil the full details on the Photography Exhibition, set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec 15. The event will again be held at Water Street Studios in Batavia, with trophies created by Image Awards and presented by Regional Superintendent Patricia Dal Santo.
During the reception, there will be music provided by Batavia High School’s Orchestra, delicious appetizers provided by Batavia High School’s Culinary Arts Class, and lovely matted photography from our students on display.
There are still two weeks left to submit! Please contact Mike Ademe at the Kane County Regional Office of Education if you would like to submit photos or have questions about the Photography Reception. Here are the Top 10 Photos from Week 7!
