ROE's 'WOW' Photo Contest Week 9: ACC Student's Books Image Is Top-Shelf

ROE’s ‘WOW’ Photo Contest Week 9: ACC Student’s Books Image Is Top-Shelf

This is the final week of the Kane County Regional Offices of Education’s 2016 Student Photo Contest. Congrats to all the students that were featured in the top 10, and thank you to everyone who submitted photos for consideration!

This year’s photo contest grew in every way, with 12 area high schools participating and a total of 508 photos submitted in just nine weeks! This effort to highlight the arts in Kane County couldn’t be possible without the time and coordination of our highly-skilled teachers.

The ROE will host a photo exhibition, open to the public, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at Water Street Studios in Batavia to honor the photography students and teachers. The top photo from each week will be honored with trophies from Image Awards and given by Regional Superintendent Patricia Dal Santo. More information on the event can be found here.

The event will feature music from the Batavia High School String Trio and delicious appetizers from the Batavia High School Culinary Arts Department. Join us for this celebration of the arts in Kane County.
