Want to Help Animals This Holiday Season? Think Local

You’ll see ads on TV this time of year with heart-tugging requests to support causes that help and protect animals around the world. But in addition to any donations you might be considering for those worthy causes, remember that there is a real need here in Kane County and ways you can help animals here at home.

There any many to choose from but here are three quick suggestions: Kane County Animal Control, Aurora Animal Care and Control and Anderson Animal Shelter.

Kane County Animal Control always needs donations, and monetary donations always are appreciated

KCAC is also part of the Kuranda Donate a Bed Program. Click here for a link to KCAC’s donation page.

At Anderson Animal Shelter, you can donate online, volunteer, become a member or make a donations. The shelter’s Wish List is published below.
