League of Women Voters Hosts Candidates Forums in Carpentersville

The League of Women Voters of the Elgin Area/Dundee Township Committee will host a Candidate Forum at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at the Carpentersville Village Hall, 1200 LW Besinger Dr. All candidates in the contested races for Carpentersville village president and village trustees have been invited.

A candidates forum for Community Unit School District 300 and Elgin Community College District 509 candidates will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at the Rakow Senior Center, 665 Barrington Ave. in Carpentersville.

The Consolidated Election is on Tuesday, April 4.

The 2017 Consolidated Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, for the Dundee Township highway commissioner seat and trustees. The Dundee Township supervisor race will be included on the April 4 ballot.

Early voting for the Feb. 28 primary will be available at the following locations and times:

  • 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20 to Friday, Feb. 24
  • 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25

  • 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27

Early voting for the April 4 Consolidated Election begins on Monday, March 20, and goes through Monday, April 3. Earl voting locations and times are as follows:
