Mayor Schielke and Other All-Stars Will Speak at ‘PechaKucha Night’ (To Make a Long Story Short)
This is one of those local events that just looks like a lot of fun.
An all-star group of speakers — including Batavia Mayor Jeff Schielke — will be participating in PechaKucha Night in Fermilab’s Ramsey Auditorium on Thursday, Feb. 16, a must-see for anyone with even the least bit of human curiosity.
What the heck is PechaKucha Night? Glad you asked.
PechaKucha is all about making a long story short. Participants give a speech with only 20 presentation slides and to spend only 20 seconds on each one. After several successful events in town, PechaKucha Batavia comes to Fermilab on Feb. 16, including talks from Schielke, Fermilab scientists and a member of the lab’s Community Advisory Board.
