See ‘The Gross, the Bad and the Yucky’ Feb. 19

Sometimes, the yuckiest things in nature are the coolest.

Consider a bird that pukes on anything that disturbs it. Some spiders make milkshakes from the guts of their prey. Other critters that walk on their snot, and there’s much more!

Join a Forest Preserve District naturalist for this informative nature program, that will include a short hike and an activity.

“The Gross, the Bad and the Yucky,” will take place from  10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at Creek Bend Nature Center, located within LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, at 37W700 Dean St., St. Charles.

Registration is $2 per person. Call 630-444-3190 or e-mail programs@kaneforest.com to register.
