Registration Now Open For 40th Annual Fox Trot 10K in Elgin

Registration is now open for the 40th annual Elgin Fox Valley Fox Trot, a spring tradition for runners and walkers, taking place on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.

The event provides the opportunity to get some quality exercise, cheer on friends and family, and/or raise money for local non-profits, while enjoying the scenic course which winds through Elgin’s downtown, parks and historic neighborhoods.

The event offers races for all levels of competition, including a 10-mile run, 10K run, a 5K run and the 2-mile Walk for a Cause.

2017 Event Features

Awards

Weather permitting, the awards ceremony will be outside with a post-race party. Trophies will be presented to the top three finishers in each age division, and the top overall male and female finishers.

Award divisions for the 10K and 5K races will be as follows: age 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over, male and female.
