A memorial to Tiffany and Brittany Coffland has been set in front of their St. Charles apartment.

A visitation for Brittany and Tiffany Coffland, the 16-year-old twins who died a Friday domestic shooting in St. Charles, will be held from 2 pm. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 17, at Christ Community Church, 37W100 Bolcum Road, St. Charles.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Yurs Funeral Home, where obituaries for the twins are posted.

“Brittany loved music and helping people. She would brighten everyone’s world with her infectious smile,” her obituary reads. “She was very popular and adventurous. Her dream was to see the world.”

“Tiffany was an avid animal lover and music lover,” her obituary said. “She was very popular and had a great group of friends. She was a top student and a budding Fashionista. She was recently training to do a marathon.”

The obit for each girl includes this sentence: “One of her fondest memory was spending time at Disney World with her family”

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Anjum Coffland to help with medical expenses. Donations may be made to Anjum Coffland, c/o of Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles IL, 60174.

St. Charles residents are mourning following the tragic Friday-evening incident in which Randall Coffland, 46, reportedly shot and killed his twin daughters, wounded his wife in the leg and turned the gun on himself.
