POW! Storm Has Returned! (And She Can Be Yours!)

“Cats always know whether people like or dislike them. They do not always care enough to do anything about it.”

Storm has returned!

As we harken back to last year at this time, it’s impossible not to remember three little baby kittens that were brought to KCAC during one of the wettest springs our area had experienced in quite a while. No sooner had the snow melted than the rain started to fall and the streams and rivers began to overflow.

Due to the rainy season, the kittens were aptly named Rain, River and Storm and they were all adopted when they reached 9-10 weeks old. The KCAC staff felt satisfied that each one of them had gone to wonderful forever homes. Unfortunately, Storm’s owner realized a playful kitten did not fit into their lifestyle, so she was recently returned to KCAC!

Storm has definitely grown up a little. Her former owner front-paw-declawed her and she is very loving and sweet to people. She probably would not do well in a home with other animals or extremely loud noises.

She still has a heart murmur, but it has lessened to a grade 1, and it’s possible she’ll outgrow it completely.

Through all the difficulties in her life, Storm has remained strong. She is looking for that one family, that one person who will love her for who she is, allowing her to grow into the incredible feline she knows she already is.

KCAC Updates

Congratulations to Rajah, Rusty, Raven, Rey and Ralphie, KCAC’s latest litter of spring kittens. After nurturing them, neutering and spaying them, and socializing them, they all were adopted and went to their new families over the last week!
