Dundee’s Newest Event! Art in the Park Set For May 14
More then 20 artisans will be displaying their work at East Dundee’s newest event, Art in the Park, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 14, on the grounds of the Depot on River Street.
Visitors are invited to celebrate Mother’s Day by strolling among booths displaying hand crafted jewelry; candles; custom made woodwork; aromatics; wind chimes; unique lamps; clothing and pottery. Local musical group, Accidentally on Purpose, will be on hand to set the mood with their jazzy soul sound.
Often referred to as the heart of East Dundee, The Depot on River St. has become the “go-to” destination for year-round community events. The Depot and its surrounding grounds are host to weekly summer special events and markets that are designed to attract visitors to East Dundee’s newly renovated downtown business district.
Art in the Park signals the beginning of the village’s May schedule of special events that also includes a giant Community Garage Sale on May 19 and 20; Crawfish Boil on May 21, and Motor Monday on May 22.
